Beacon is a driver discovery and direct-contact directory. Riders can browse listings and contact drivers by phone or WhatsApp. Beacon does not provide in-app booking, dispatch, payment processing, or a managed ride service. These terms describe the rules for use of Beacon.
Your arrangements with drivers
Riders and drivers agree directly on availability, route, pickup, fare, payment, and any cancellation arrangements before travel. Beacon takes zero platform commission. A location marker or an available status does not guarantee a driver will respond or provide a journey.
Accounts and accurate information
Use an account you are authorized to access. Keep your profile and contact information accurate. Do not impersonate another person or submit someone else's documents without authorization. Tell support if you suspect unauthorized account access.
Driver responsibilities
Drivers are responsible for the licences, permissions, insurance, vehicle condition, and other requirements applicable to their services. Provide accurate application documents, vehicle details, and service descriptions. Do not operate the app while driving; stop safely before changing availability or responding to a customer.
Respectful use
Do not harass, discriminate against, threaten, defraud, or endanger others. Do not post illegal or misleading content, scrape personal information, spam drivers, or attempt to bypass account or data-access controls. Follow the Peer Safety Code.
Listings and moderation
Applications and listing changes may be reviewed. Beacon may restrict or remove listings or accounts involved in misuse or inaccurate information. Listing approval is not a guarantee of safety, service quality, identity, or future conduct. You can report a listing in the app or contact support about a review.
Content and privacy
Only upload content you have the right to share. Public listing content is displayed to enable discovery and contact. Read the privacy policy for information about account data, documents, location sharing, and third-party services.
Availability and external services
Map information and driver locations may be delayed or unavailable. Internet, device, and external-service issues can interrupt features. Calls and messages may incur charges from your provider. Beacon is not an emergency service.
Leaving Beacon and getting help
You can stop using Beacon at any time. To request account and associated data deletion, follow the deletion instructions. For questions about these terms, visit Support.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
